Vegetable Chow Mein | Fakeaway Recipe

We love Vegetable Chow Mein, a favourite of ours when we go out to eat Chinese food as it is a great accompaniment to any other main dish you choose. Really easy to cook as well.



Ingredients:

1 pack of ready prepared stir fry vegetables
250g dried egg noodles
Rice vinegar
Light soy sauce
Dark soy sauce
Garlic fry light

Method:
Wok Starter Kit
Ideal Wok starter kit
  1. Prepare the noodles according to the packet instruction and leave in cold water until required.
  2. Heat a wok and spray with plenty of garlic fry light.
  3. Empty the prepared vegetables into the wok and stir fry to get the garlic fry light well mixed in.
  4. Leave vegetables to cook whilst you now drain the noodles.
  5. When vegetables are nicely cooked through, add the noodles and stir in thoroughly to stop them sticking to the pan.
  6. Reduce the heat a little and add a couple of dashes of rice vinegar and mix thoroughly.
  7. Then add a little light soy sauce and a little dark say sauce, just enough to coat everything and give the noodles a nice hue.
  8. When everything is mixed well and cooked through, empty into a serving pot and place on table to leave everyone help themselves.
  9. Serve with any other fakeaway dish you like!
