Steamed Pak Choi with Asparagus

Asparagus and Pak Choi are two excellent vegetables, and dead easy to cook. This is a very quick and easy method for cooking two very delicate vegetables, and can be served with almost any meal, including the Minted Lamb Leg Steaks we served these with.




Ingredients:

1 head of Pack Choi
Asparagus

Method:
Bamboo Steamers
  • Trim the Pak Choi and lay in one section of a Bamboo Steamer
  • Remove the outer layer of the Apsaragus and cut about an inch from the bottom, place these in another section of a Bamboo Steamer.
  • Place over a pan of boiling water and steam for about 8 to 10 minutes, until well cooked but still tender.
  • If you wish, you can simply place the bamboo steamers over another pan cooking something like potatoes etc!

We recommend the Bamboo Steamers, not only are they incredibly cheap, they last forever, and you can easily add sections to them!
