Macaroni Bolognese With Baked Beans

Macaroni Bolognese with baked beans is another great comfort meal, much like our Chicken Macaroni Bake we published earlier. This one, however, is full of food we can eat quite safely without piling the pounds on!


Ingredients:

400 g Extra Lean Mince
1 Chopped Onion
2 Cloves Garlic Finely Chopped
Tin of Tomatoes
1/2 Tin of Backed Beans (or a whole tin if you prefer)
100 ml Beef Stock (made with Knorr stock cube)
Salt & Pepper
Pinch of Thyme
Pinch of Oregano
Balsamic Vinegar
200 g Cooked Macaroni

Method
  • Cook 200 g Macaroni according to instructions on packet. When cooked, plunge into cold water until needed.
  • Brown the meat and onion in saucepan using fry light, then add all the other ingredients, EXCEPT the macaroni.
  • Whilst the ingredients are warming through, drain the macaroni ready.
  • As soon as the mix is heated right through, add the macaroni and stir in well.
  • Cook until the pasta is thoroughly reheated.
